He writes a new story in our hearts. He removes the storyline of pain and sorrow to a plot of joy and gratitude. He erases the anger and jealousy, and pens in love and connection.
He deems me worthy and loved, welcomed and wanted; saying I have much to offer. The opinions of others should stop mattering because in the end, their opinion has no weight. Only God’s does.
You can trust God in your present and future; with what your eyes can see and what is beyond your ability to gaze upon. We will see His goodness. We will see His hand at work in our lives.
I doubt that He would have me lose heart, have shattered dreams, a worn-out body, and a hopeless spirit. I doubt that He would give me dreams and passions and abilities without chances to use them and live them out.
You see the impossible, He sees opportunities. God can either showcase His authority or help you see your faith in action.

There’s always someone or something that opposes you. It’s the classic good versus evil scenario. As Christians living in a broken world full of evil, it should come as no surprise that we will have to fight it.
But it is in our brokenness, it is in our lack, that God reveals Himself to a broken world who lacks all that He can freely give.
